Looks like winter is taking hold here in NW Michigan. We have about 4 inches of new snow. Yesterday I went down to Midland Michigan to pick up our teenager who was in Florida over the holiday. (lucky him) and the roads were dry and snow free the whole way down and back. I wake up this morning and it’s a white out.
My plan is to go run the snow blower in the driveway and get Billy to shovel the walkways. Hope it lasts more then a few hours!
Otherwise, I’m waiting for my Mixers to come (yes, I said Mixers and not Mixer). I have 2 UB502 mixers coming in on UPS today. I’m going to hook one of them up as my main mic mixer here in the Podcast Studio and the other one will get hooked in for Kathy’s mic so we can control her mic and mine separately and the headphones will work for each mic. Don’t know if I have anywhere near the correct connectors and cables to make that work. I suppose a trip to Radio Shack is in my future.
Assuming I get that all done, I would like to record a Mike Dell’s world podcast using the new setup. Might be Saturday that I do that. Either way, you will get a podcast out of me before Monday or on Monday.
I will post a photo of the snow banks in this post later.
