Vacation Over

Tonight, I start my work year. I’ve been off for 4 days and I have to say it’s been great. I didn’t do anything crazy on New Years Eve. Just hung around the house with the wife and played Wii games and watched some movies.

Today is the Typical Northern Michigan winter day. It’s 28F and overcast with some freezing drizzle. Makes for a long day if you want to see the sun. We had some sun yesterday which was quite nice and with all the snow we have had, it makes it really bright out. It will likely be the last we see of the sun for a week or two. Good day to read and relax.

I’m doing my normal Ham Radio stuff this morning. (see www.iook.org and click on “nets” for more info on that) After the nets, we are going to Brunch with my Mom and Dad and some friends. We are trying out a place that just stated serving breakfast. It’s called Bubba’s in Traverse City (www.tcfood.com). I will report back and let you know how it is in case you find yourself up this way at breakfast time. Their Dinners are really good so I expect it will be satisfactory.

I plan on recording Mike Dell’s World #105 Monday so stay tuned for that!
